Being an independent, unsigned artist and releasing my own material, I have really benefited from being a member of PPL and have received royalties from all my radio play over the years.

Becoming a member of PPL is free. If you own the rights to recorded music, you are entitled to earn royalties when that recording is used.
What rights must I own?
PPL rights holders can be anything from major record labels and independents through to self-releasing artists and individuals. PPL manages the rights for when recorded music is broadcast and played in public. If you own such rights, you could be eligible for PPL royalties.
