PPL charges a licence fee for the use of recorded music and music videos in public and broadcast on radio or TV programmes and then distributes these fees to members, similar to royalties.
We also license certain internet radio and online streaming services. Find out more about earning digital royalties.
We also collect royalties from countries all over the world through agreements with other music licensing organisations. Download a list of these countries.
There are numerous ways to make sure you are earning the most you can from your PPL repertoire.
Members can view statements, add new repertoire, search the PPL Repertoire Database and make claims via their online myPPL account.
